At Path Robotics we have some tough challenges, and we are looking for someone take them on! We need someone that is at their best solving new and different problems and can adapt. One day this person may be working on implementing a ball-pivoting algorithm to mesh a point cloud, and the next day working on a new way to calibrate an industrial robot arm or develop a new path-planning strategy. If you have a good mathematical fundamentals, are more of a scientific programmer, love robots, and like tackle projects start to finish, then we have the job for you!
Your responsibilities will include
Finding solutions and methods to solve new and challenging problems.
Implement state-of-the-art methods in software and improve them as necessary.
Working with developers to implement new techniques into the primary source code.
Performing literature and technology reviews.
Your background likely includes
Extensive research experience in technical field (engineer, computer scientist, mathematician, or equivalent).
Solid fundamentals in numerical methods, simulation, and coding.
Strong mathematical fundamentals.
Experience with C++, Python, or both would be wonderful.
